Santa 2008

So we went to go see Santa yesterday. I told my mom and dad that I was going to ask him for a paint Thomas. When it was our turn to go see Santa, I told him that I wanted a paint Thomas. He asked if I had been a good boy and I said, "Yes." He asked if I have been going to bed on time and brushing my teeth and I said, "Yes." Then he asked me if I had been cleaning up my room and I said, "No." That kind of surprised Santa, but I promised I would work on it.

Santa gave me a candy cane and then we got in the car to go home. When we were in the car I told my mom and dad that I didn't want a candy cane, but that I wanted a paint Thomas. I told Santa that is what I wanted, I didn't say anything about a candy cane. My parents tried to explain to me that we were letting Santa know what I wanted so that he will know what to bring on Christmas, but all I could think is that I didn't want a candy cane. I was a little upset with Santa for not giving me my paint Thomas.

Well my sister also had her issues with Santa. She didn't want to have anything to do with him. As you can tell by the picture below. My mom says that I reacted to Santa the exact same way when I was her age. Maybe we'll have better luck next year:)

Thanksgiving 2008

This year we went up to my grandparents' house for Thanksgiving. My sister and I had so much fun, we didn't want to come home. Who would when you get to do all kinds of fun things at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Like:
being held whenever you want,

having constant attention,

eating a cupful of marshmellows,
fishing with Grandpa. Needless to say we had a great time and can't wait to go back.
