Beach Day

Since we were on vacation we met up with our friends Josh and Ty Ty in San Clemente.  We try and meet up with them every once in a while since they moved.  We had so much fun, it was a beautiful day we even got to play in the water in December!

Christmas Service

We went to the early Christmas service at church and after they had a snow to sled on a train ride and petting zoo.  It was really crowded and crazy, but after a bit it mellowed out and was a lot of fun.

Gingerbread Houses

We had Jackson, Ava and Squirmy over to make Gingerbread houses out of icing, candy and graham crackers.  I think we had more fun eating than decorating.

Rudolph

Close to our house is this one house that has a giant Rudolph on the roof.  My parents say they give Clark Griswold a run for his money.

Snow Day

During our Christmas break it snowed up in the local mountains. My dad decided to take the day off and we invited our friends the Fowlers to go play in the snow. My sister was so funny, every time my sister would sled down the hill she would scream the whole way down.

Christmas Party

My class had a Christmas Party which was so fun.  My teacher had some really cool crafts for us to do.  We made a Christmas tree out of pine cones, and a melted snowman out of cookies and candy.

Boat Parade

Continuing with tradition we went to the boat parade, but this time we invited our friends the Fowlers to join us.  We had a great time!  Since we sat where the parade starts it was super short, my friend Cavitt and I and our dads missed most of it, because we had to go to the restroom.  By the time we got back it was over and we weren't even gone very long:)

Oh, Christmas Tree

This year was my turn to put the star on the tree.  Next time I will probably have to use a step stool, because I am getting to big for my dad to carry:)

Oh, Christmas Tree...

We had such a great time getting our Christmas tree.  We ran up and down trying to find the perfect one.  I found a great red one, that I thought was perfect and my sister found a pink one, but my mom said a green one would be just fine.

Christmas Program

This year at school we had our annual Christmas Program.  It was a lot of fun!  We sang a lot of great Christmas songs.

Ballet Recital

I had my first ballet recital the day after Thanksgiving.  I was so excited, until my mom told me I had to wear red lipstick and blue eyeshadow.  I was not happy about that, but with a little coaxing and bribing I let my mom put it on.  Though I was very clear that I didn't like it (which my mom was glad about that).

My parents signed my sister up for her first ballet class.  She loves it and can't wait until her performance.

Field Trip to the Zoo

For our first, 1st grade field trip we went to the zoo.  Mia and I were in my mom's group and we hung out with Mrs. Mendez and her group, Makayla, Alexander and Chloe.  We had a great time.

Halloween

In keeping with our tradition we went trick-or-treating with our friends Kaylee and Mikey aka The Ghostbusters.

For Halloween I wanted to be the Red Angry Bird, but we couldn't find it, so my parents said I had to have a plan B.  So I chose to be Anakin.  It came with a mask, which my parents thought was pretty creepy and I refused to wear, but my sister thought was hilarious.
