Cousins

Our cousins Love, Jake and Carey came to visit us last week. They came from Indio and decided to bring the hot sweltering weather with them:) We did some of our favorite things with them, which was go to the Nighttime Zoo and the bay. We had such a great time and wished they could have stayed longer. We can't wait to see them again!

Grass

My sister loves to lay in the grass and will tell my mom she is going,"nigh, nigh." I decided to lay down with her and my mom tried to take pictures of us, but we weren't very cooperative, so these will have to do.

Friends

We have been spending quite a bit of time with our friends Owen and Renee lately. Which has been great for my sister since she and Owen are only 4 months apart. They have a great time together, even though there is still a lot of parallel play going on. They do often want what the other has, luckily we had more than one tub.

The Bay

Along with spending time at the zoo we have also been spending time at the bay. My mom finds it much easier to watch both of us at the bay than the beach. We are happy either way.

PreSeason

Football season is fast approaching and my dad is counting down until the actual season begins. In the meantime we have had fun watching the Chargers get ready for their season. My dad took me to one of their nighttime practices and then we all went to Fanfest. He also took my sister to one of the nighttime practices. I had fun walking all around the stadium sitting in different seats, while my sister had fun playing in the seats, but she didn't like getting stuck when it folded up on her.

Nighttime Zoo

Over the past month we have been frequenting the Nighttime Zoo. It has been great, because it is the perfect thing to do after naps. When we get there the temp is perfect and the crowds are gone. We have had so much fun checking out the animals, playing on the new playground and we mustn't forget about the new Elephant Odyssey. My sister especially likes seeing the monkeys and elephants. While I prefer running around with my friends.
