My First Christmas!!

My first Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa's house was the best. I loved all of the attention from everyone and couldn't get enough of my cousin Elisha.





Like my friend Aden I loved the wrapping and the bows.

6 months

As I reflect on the past 6 months, I realize my life has changed a lot. I started out 6 months ago weighing 9 lbs. 1oz. and 21 1/2 inches long. I am now about 20 lbs. and 27 inches long. I went from laying around to now sitting up and rolling over. Instead of just crying I now like to babble, laugh,scream and drool. Instead of just looking at my toys I now grab them and put them in my mouth, along with everything else I can get my little hands on. I am still all gums, but am now teething. Most of all I am now really enjoying interacting with my parents.

Thanksgiving

Sleeping at the bay with Great Grandma, Uncle Victor, Mom, Aunt Faith & Grandpa.

For my first Thanksgiving my Grammy, Grandpa, Great Grandma Sabina, Aunt Faith & Uncle Victor came down to spend it with me. We had a lot of fun and I got lots of attention from all of my grandparents. Grandpa had to keep his glasses on top of his head when he would hold me, because the first thing I would do is grab for them.

Five Months

Now that I am 5 months old I am beginning to make great strides. I can kind of sit up on my own without support for a few seconds, but I usually end up leaning forward or towards my side. I have become a master at grabbing my mom's hair and not letting go. I started eating solids, but so far I don't like anything but rice cereal with breastmilk. I roll over from time to time and I am very easily distracted by everything around me. Oh, and one more thing I like to smile and laugh a lot.

Bubbazilla

Today I was Bubbazilla! My mom put me in my costume about 3 different times today and I wore it without any complaints.

Pumpkin Patch

This week we went to the pumpkin patch with our playgroups. It was a lot of fun.

Cereal

This weekend I had my first taste of cereal. At first I didn't know what to think, but as you can see I ended up enjoying the 1/4 that didn't end up on my face and bib.

4 Months

Today I am 4 months old. I went to the doctor and weighed in at 18 lbs. 14 oz. and I am 26 1/2 inches long. The whole experience was great up until the end, when Nurse Gaby nailed me with 4 shots. After all was said and done I survived and managed to have a good day.

This weekend our friends Lisa and Baylee came to visit. We had so much fun. I thought Baylee was hilarious and couldn't get enough of her.

Donnie Edwards

Yesterday we went to meet Chargers Linebacker Donnie Edwards. He was nice enough to take a picture with me, though he was a little intimidated by my size.

These days I enjoy laying around sucking on my hands and trying to put my toys in my mouth.

3 Months

Today I am 3 months old, which means I am no longer a newborn and am an official baby. My mom tried to take a picture of me earlier, but the batteries in the camera were dead. So my dad brought some home, well one thing led to another and before my mom new it she had put me to bed without taking a picture. So she decided to take a risk and take it while I was asleep. Lucky for her once I am down at night it is pretty hard to wake me. Oh yeah, my eyes are sometimes open a little while I sleep. Some people might find that strange, but I get it from my mom. So it's not my fault.

Football Season

Well, football season is here once again. My dad couldn't resist and had to buy me my first jersey.

Four Generations

Great Grandma Sabina, Grammy, Mom & Me!!









My Great Grandma Sabina came to visit me. It was the first time she had seen me. At first she was worried that I would be too heavy to hold, but once she saw me she managed just fine.

Grammy & Grandpa

This weekend my Grammy & Grandpa came to visit me. They hadn't seen me for about a month and they could not believe how much I had grown. While Grandpa was holding me I had a bit of an accident, which surprised my Grandpa, but it didn't keep him from holding me the rest of the weekend.

Grandma Sue

Grandma Sue comes to visit me often and can't believe how much I change from week to week.

Love's 1st Birthday Party

This weekend I went to my first birthday party. It was my cousin Love's 1st birthday. I also had my first over night trip, my mom and dad learned from our last trip that it is easier to break up the drive into two days rather than one. I did great! I slept most of the way there and back and I also slept well over night, even though I wasn't home in my own bed.

No More Co-Sleeper

My mom packed up my co-sleeper, because now I am sleeping in my own room by myself in my crib. As you can see I am very happy about this. My mom and dad are having a bit of a hard time with my new found independence and check on me constantly.

My First Zoo Trip

Tonight I went to the zoo with my mom and dad. We met my cousins Carey, Love, Ryan and my Aunt Tish. It was a lot of fun. I especially liked looking at the trees. My cousin Love kept mocking me every time I cried. Everyone thought that was pretty funny.

2 Months

Today I am 2 months old. Over the last month I have made a lot of progress. I stopped getting gas, I like my swing and bouncy and most of all, I am smiling all the time for my mom and dad.

My mom decided to put my glasses on today, because we were going to a Barbeque at our friends Esther and Jose's. Dad just couldn't let me be cool on my own and had to get in the picture.
