Balloon Parade

My mom and her friend Renee decided to venture down to the Balloon Parade. Since we had never been she didn't know what to expect, as far as parking and how cooperative we would be. We parked in a structure and walked down to the Embarcadaro. We had a great time, Rylen wasn't too sure at first about the giant balloons. In the end, Rylen and Owen had a great time dancing to the music of the marching bands. Owen's favorite balloon was the football, mine was the baby panda, and Rylen's was the pirate.

Christmas Day 2009

Later Christmas morning we got ready and headed off to my grandparents house. We were so excited to go, my sister kept talking about going to Grandpa's house all week. She kept on asking my mom, "We go to Grandpa's house later?" And later finally came. The drive went surprisingly smooth and we hit our usual traffic in Fontana my mom was able to find a detour which saved us a lot of time. Once we arrived my sister was so excited to see Grandpa she ran and gave him a big hug. Everyone else was expecting the same greeting, but Rylen saved that one for just him. I had a great time playing my new Super Mario Bros. with Tivo (Uncle Victor). He is really good. We also had fun opening more presents, eating great food and playing with our cousins.

Christmas Morning 2009

Christmas morning we woke up bright and early to see what Santa had brought us. First we opened our stockings and then our presents under the tree. We had a nice morning playing with our toys and relaxing.

Christmas Eve 2009

On Christmas Eve we went to my Nana's house for dinner and opening presents. It was the beginning of our whirlwind Christmas celebration. My sister and I were so excited we couldn't wait to open all of the presents from Nana.

Surprise!

Yesterday my mom told us that we had a big surprise coming. We were so anxious we couldn't wait. While we were playing outside our surprise came. It was my cousin Elisha. My Uncle James had some work to do in SD so he brought Elisha to visit us while he worked. I was so excited I couldn't wait to show him everything. We had a lot of fun outside playing Mario & Luigi Adventure. It was a short visit and I was sad to see him go, but we will see him tomorrow. Can't wait!

Santa 2009

Today we went to go see Santa. We've been talking him up for quite sometime for my sister, but she still refused to go near him. So this year it is just me with Santa. I told him I want Mario, messy oil Thomas and Luigi Circuit (my mom and dad are a little worried, because not all of these things exist).

Boat Parade

After the big Charger win on Sunday we headed to the boat parade on the San Diego Bay. We went last year, but this year we went earlier so that we could see the fireworks. It was just long enough to keep our attention. Just when my parents were ready for us to leave it was over.

Preschool Day

My friend Jackson and I have a "preschool day." Which means our moms take turns having the two of us and our sisters. So while Rylen and Jackson's little sister Ava were with his mom, we had fun making ornaments and Gingerbread houses out of graham crackers. Jackson ran out of M&M's for his house, because he ate them all, while I used mine sparingly and ate the leftovers.

Getting ready for Christmas

As we have gotten older Christmas time has become more exciting. My mom has had a lot of fun planning what will be our family traditions this season. These are a few of the things we have done so far.

Pics that didn't make the Christmas card

Friends

My mom has been meaning to post this pic for awhile. Our good friends and neighbors Keler and Owen came over one evening while their parents were out. We had the best time playing with them. Since it was at night we turned all of the lights out and played with flashlights and glow sticks. Keler performed a great song for us while I danced along. After our tea party, picnic and fighting fires we got into our pajamas and watched a movie. This is a picture of my mom's favorite part of the night:)

Thanksgiving 2009

This year we hosted Thanksgiving! My dad made a delicious turkey and everyone else contributed the sides. My sister's favorite were the cranberries, while mine was the rolls. My grandma, grandpa, great grandma and Aunt Faith came down to share the holiday with us. Our Nana joined us too.
My sister had a blast having everyone's undivided attention. My mom has always been bad about taking pictures on this day, so this is all she had to post.

Halloween 2009

We had a jam packed day yesterday. Once we woke from our naps we went to Squirmy's house aka Alexander. Then our Nana came over to take some pics of us in our costumes. We then went to our friend Dane's Halloween party and then finally our friends Kaylee, Mikey, Felix and David came over to go trick or treating. We had a great time. I didn't like the scary houses and my sister was very selective when it came to what houses she would go to.

Playgroup Halloween Party '09

On Thursday we had our playgroup Halloween Party. My sister and I were very excited that we got to wear our costumes a little early. Even though we, I mean I, have been wearing my hat for the past week.

Pumpkin Patch '09

It is hard to believe that this is our, I mean my 5th year at the pumpkin patch. This year instead of going to Victoria's Garden we went to Omma's. It was fun, but there were a lot of bees there, which made it kind of hard to eat. My sister was a little unsure of all of the scarecrows, even though they weren't very scary. My sister's favorite part was the petting zoo (it was the only place she actually let my mom take pictures) and mine was picking out my pumpkin. Our friend Alexander also came with us, it was his first time going to the pumpkin patch. Click here for year one.

Disneyland

For my dad's birthday we decided to go to Disneyland. We had a great time. My sister kept talking about how she wanted her picture with Mickey, but when we got the opportunity she declined and started crying. We had a great time and lasted all day without naps. My sister just had one screaming fit at the end, but nothing big. I would have to say my sister's favorite ride was the carousel and mine was Dumbo! Happy Birthday, Daddy!
