Friends

Avery doesn't have too many friends her age to play with, so when Thayer comes to visit they always have a good time.

Park Fun

Now that both of the older kids are in school, Avery and I don't make it to the park as often as I did when Gabriel and Rylen were younger.  So when we do Avery has a blast.  She especially enjoyed going down the slide all by herself.

My Sidekick

Avery is always following me around the house throughout the day. She decided to set up shop this afternoon while I was cooking dinner:)

Ice Skating

So Rylen has been wanting to learn how to ice skate.  So we signed her up for ice skating lessons and she absolutely loves it.  She is taking them with her friend Owen which makes it even more fun for her.

New Year's Day

Since we didn't stay up until midnight and got a decent nights sleep, we decided to head up to the local mountains and play in the snow.  It has been a long time since we had snow here, since last winter we really didn't get much of a winter.  It worked out nicely since B was off so we packed up and headed out. Avery loved sledding with Daddy.  The last time she was here she was a little baby.

We started our day at the snow and ended it watching the sunset at the beach.  What a great way to start the new year:)
