The Playhouse

I have finally cleaned out the playhouse so that it is a usable kid space.  There is still more I would like to do, but Avery loves it down there.  She asks me everyday if she can play in the playhouse.

Batgirl Princess Bandit

Rylen got the dress up drawer out for Avery today and had a great time getting her outfitted.  I forgot super hero, because she does have a cape on too, you just can't see it.

Baseball in the Heat

So while we have had some cooler weather and rain periodically this week we have had some unusually hot weather.  For Gabriel's game on Saturday it was in the mid 90's.  He had his first opportunity to pitch this season and he did pretty well.

The Big Bad Wolf

Avery decided that she wanted to dress up in Rylen's wolf costume today.  She had so much fun looking at herself in the mirror and howling:)

Zoo Trip with Avery

Avery and I went to the zoo just the 2 of us this past week.  Unlike Gabriel and Rylen she hasn't been as often as they had at this age.  So needless to say she loved it!!! She walked most of the time and her favorite animals were the monkeys.

Fosters Freeze

After dinner tonight we decided to take Gabriel and Avery to Fosters Freeze for dessert.  Rylen was at her friend Cameron's for a bday sleepover, so she was not with us.  Needless to say Gabriel and Avery loved their ice cream. Gabriel said he is going to bring his kids here when he grows up;)

Cousins

This weekend we went to visit our cousins.  It has been a long time since we have seen them and I just love how no matter how much time has passed they just pick up where they left off.  We had a great time.

Avery doesn't have too many friends her age to play with, so when Thayer comes to visit they always have a good time.

Park Fun

Now that both of the older kids are in school, Avery and I don't make it to the park as often as I did when Gabriel and Rylen were younger.  So when we do Avery has a blast.  She especially enjoyed going down the slide all by herself.

My Sidekick

Avery is always following me around the house throughout the day. She decided to set up shop this afternoon while I was cooking dinner:)

Pregnant

After training and running in the SD half marathon in March of 2012, I found out that I was pregnant with our 3rd child. We were completely surprised!  It turned our world upside down and I spent the following 9months nauseous, tired and uncomfortable.  In the end I wouldn't have had it any other way:)
